KEYCHAIN FONT DOWNLOAD
The KeyChain Font is now available as shareware for FREE! Simply click on the icon below and choose "Save to Disk" option. Important! This is a True Type Font. Copy or move it to your Windows>Fonts folder and it is ready to use in any Windows based program using True Type Fonts. I use it in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Delta Cad, Photo Shop, etc.
Mac users please consult your owners manual for True Type Fonts.

Important Helpful Hint:
On most computers, this font PRINTS beautifully for anything over 72 point size, about 1", so it may be used for everything from very small key chains 1/2" high --24 to 36 pt. -- to desk names 3" high -- 240 pt. That said, the font doesn't show well on your computer screen in the smaller font sizes (less than 72 pt). In fact, you might think you have a blank screen.
Option #1
I suggest that you initially lay out your names in the larger font size (over 72 pt. or larger depending on your monitor); sometimes bold helps with the viewing. When you are happy with the layout, resize the font to the smaller size and print it as you would normally. This font is hollow and the lines are very fine in normal mode which makes it perfect for cutting on your scroll saw or band saw for the larger stuff. That is the reason for the viewing difficulty in the smaller sizes.
Option #2
In Microsoft Word 2003, I change the background to dark blue. Tools>Background>Choose some dark color. Turn CAPLOCK key ON. Change Font Color to White. This has worked extremely well on 24 pt font. That is the smallest size you would use for the keychains.
Installing fonts on some operating systems is not so simple after all. Here are instructions for installing a new font on a PC with Windows XP Home Edition.

If you can't get the font to work using the information above, you may be one of those folks who take advantage of the free alphabet to hand letter your projects.
Wishing you well with good success,
Ron
