Sweet Janice and I took a "polychromatic staved segmented bowl making" class from Mr. Don Russell in Oxford, Ga a couple of years ago. We also purchased some components already cut and glued up in the rough to make another complete bowl at home. There was still lots of assembly work to do and all of the turning and finishing. Janice is very happy with the way it turned out. So am I.
